“Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” — Matthew 5:15

That verse is the heartbeat of Even in This. A reminder that even in the darkest valleys, God’s light is meant to shine, not just for us, but for those who walk beside us.

I’m Jenna—wife, mom to three, and a woman being healed from people pleasing, anxiety, grief - infant loss, betrayal, abuse, and generational trauma. For years, I carried shame and silence, but along the way I’ve learned: it has to end with us.

We get to choose differently. We get to break cycles. We get to walk in freedom.

The pillars of Even in This restored me, and now, I invite you to step into them too, to heal, reignite your spark, and return to the truest version of yourself.

Homemaking – More than meals, this is soul work. As worship music drifts through my kitchen, I craft whole, clean recipes with my hands—food that nourishes your family and reminds you that true healing begins from the inside out. These are heirloom recipes meant to be passed on, a legacy of wellness and love around your table.

Homeschooling – Education was never meant to fracture families; it was meant to bind us closer. Here, I share rhythms and routines that quiet the chaos, restore peace, and turn learning into connection. Whether you’re unlearning patterns that no longer serve you or creating new ones, you’ll find tools to build a home where your children feel seen, safe, and celebrated.

Healing – This is where we get unstuck. Through therapy, retreats, holistic practices, and faith, I’ve learned to step out of the shadows of anxiety, betrayal, and generational trauma, and into the fullness of who God created me to be. Here, I’ll hand you the same tools, practices, and hard-won lessons so you can begin to rise too.

This is not just my story - it’s an invitation. To notice His goodness, even in this. To take the lamp in your hands and let it light the path for another. To remember: you are not alone, and you don’t have to stay where you’ve been.

Welcome, friend. Exhale. You’re home.

Who is Jenna?

Hi, sweet friend! I’m Jenna, wife to my high school sweetheart, Nicholas, and mother of five: Cohban (15), Madison (12), Charley (6), and our twins, Grady & Ryder, who we lost to pre-term labor in 2014. Oh, how we long to hold them again.

In my 37 years, I’ve experienced it all — go ahead, name it. The answer is most likely, “Yes, me too.”

I reached a point when I realized I no longer wanted to live in a “this happened to me” story. I wanted to live freely, embracing all God created me to be. Being stuck in my pain was holding me back from truly living in the moment, being intentional with my time, and embracing the joy that surrounds me.

During an interview about losing Grady and Ryder, I found myself saying, “…there are days when I cannot breathe, and then there are days that are just so joyful, I can see God’s miracles — even in this.”

Even in this. Name your ‘this.’ Grief, heartbreak, trauma, abuse, betrayal, diagnosis, lossGod is still good.

Reading Matthew 5:15, I realized that my story isn’t just for me. It’s for her, for you. When we shine light on the places God met us in our heartache, we help another woman break free from her pain and light the path to finding herself again.

You’re not just shining light;

you’re handing another woman

a lamp and saying,

“Here, walk with me.”
